THE 5 Ws OF THE ROSARY FOR LIFE
A volunteer prayer group who supports the God-given gift of LIFE.
Anyone willing to pray the 15 decades of the Rosary and meditate on the life of Christ.
At the time each week that you have committed to this prayer.
Preferably in church before the Blessed Sacrament, but anywhere convenient to you.
Prayer and penance were used by Our Lord Himself in order to combat the power of evil.
In our troubled and sinful society, we turn to Our Heavenly Father, through the intercession of Our Mother Mary and pray for a greater appreciation and respect of the God-given gift of LIFE.
Therefore, we pray for:
Our Divine Lord, the Author of all Life, tells us in the Scriptures, "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you."
TOGETHER
we ask ...
we seek ...
we knock ...
KNOWING THAT
He will answer us ...
He will show us ...
He will open us ...
TO A GREATER RESPECT FOR HIS GREAT GIFT OF LIFE

My Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,
Catholic devotion to the Rosary is deep in our spirituality. The Rosary evolved specifically as a layperson's prayer, substituting one hundred and fifty prayers a day for the psalms which many could not read.
The people turned to the Rosary especially in time of personal or community need. The Rosary prayers of the faithful were seen as crucial in supporting the Christian cause at the Battle of Lepanto which historians point out as the defeat of Muslim military actions to destroy Christian Europe.
Now the people and the Church are again involved in a battle for the heart and soul of our commitment as Christians-the defense of human life against the attacks recently enumerated in Pope John Paul II's Encyclical, "Evangelium Vitae."
Pray the Rosary for life. Ask the intercession of the Mother of God and Mother of the Church in our efforts to protect life. May we be as successful in this effort as our ancestors were at Lepanto, aided by the grace of the Lord Jesus and the intercession of his mother Mary.
